Our Purpose

A visionary and vibrant faith has been at the heart of the ministry of North Fresno Church from its beginning. The Great Commission and the Great Commandment are blueprints for our ministry as a church. Christ commanded the church make disciples of all people, to baptize them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit, and to teach them the Scriptures (Matt. 28:19-20). He also taught that we are to love God with our whole being and to love our neighbor as we love ourselves (Matt. 22:37-39).

The purpose of North Fresno Church is:
   To glorify God by introducing people to Christ
   To serve people in need
   To grow together to reach full maturity in Jesus Christ.

We achieve this purpose through a balanced and active pursuit of the five key aspects of church life:
   Worship
   Fellowship
   Outreach
   Instruction
   Stewardship
